RETAIL MERCHANDISING ASSOCIATE
About The Position
The Retail Merchandising Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at the TJ Maxx store at 5627 Concord Pike, Wilmington, Delaware. Starting pay is $15.00 to $15.50 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
