About The Position

Kalan, a third-generation consumer products company with over 50 years of experience, is seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Retail Merchandisers. This role involves maintaining product displays in retail locations. The position offers flexible hours with short assignments, typically two visits per month, increasing to weekly during the holiday season. It is an independent contractor (1099) role, providing supplemental income through a flat rate per visit. A referral program is also available.

Requirements

Reliable, professional, and punctual individuals who can work independently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet with internet access for reporting.
Ability to follow written instructions and communicate via email or phone.
Ability to regularly lift 40 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
Must be able to stand for several hours at a time.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

Merchandising or retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Merchandise and display products in assigned stores within 5 days of shipment arrival.
Organize and refresh product displays using a planogram.
Remove damaged or discontinued items.
Take date-stamped photos of completed work and upload them via the reporting system.
Submit an invoice via email for payment after each completed visit.
