About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you will help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability. You will execute retail merchandising activities, serve as the main contact with store management, and represent Acosta Group in your assigned store or stores. The role involves working independently while building relationships with store associates, managers, and Acosta team members.

Work may be scheduled any day Sunday through Saturday, depending on the work required at the location. Full-time schedules are flexible and require at least five days per week, including Tuesday and Friday. Part-time schedules are flexible and require two to four days per week, also including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; no evenings are required.

Acosta offers the opportunity to merchandise familiar brands across a variety of categories and varied tasks. Health plan options include no-copay telemedicine, regardless of hours worked. The position requires access to reliable transportation to travel among multiple retail locations in the area. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have access to reliable transportation to travel to and from multiple retail locations in the area.
• Be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Be able to use a company-issued mobile device and navigate multiple applications at the same time.
• Follow detailed instructions, complete work within the provided timeframe, and report work on the same day.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock it, and pack out products.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in stores.
• Use a company-issued mobile device to complete work while navigating multiple applications.
• Take photos of completed work to demonstrate results.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete the work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager via email, phone, and text.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Provide accurate, concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
• Build relationships with store personnel and share best practices with the Walmart team through available communication channels.
