About The Position
Max Distributing is hiring a Retail Merchandiser to support convenience store accounts throughout the Savannah area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working independently, and managing their own day, rather than being desk-bound. While no industry experience is required, training is provided for motivated individuals who are dependable, professional, and seeking a long-term career. Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, delivery, merchandising, restaurant management, route driving, sales, or account management may be beneficial.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Comfortable using mobile apps and basic technology
- Ability to lift, stock, and merchandise products throughout the day
Nice To Haves
- Retail, merchandising, customer service, delivery, hospitality, sales, route, or account management experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Organized with strong time-management abilities
Responsibilities
- Visit convenience store accounts throughout your assigned territory
- Merchandise and stock products to maximize product visibility and sales
- Build attractive displays and maintain shelf organization
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when needed
- Complete invoicing, reporting, and route documentation
- Develop positive relationships with store managers and employees
- Manage your route efficiently while working independently
- Represent Max Distributing professionally in every account
