About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV) is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for its 2nd shift. PBV is the nation's largest private bottler and distributor of Pepsi beverages, with operations in NC, SC, MD, & DE. This role involves merchandising products, including stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, organizing storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, retail industry experience, adaptability, customer service skills, good communication and math skills, the ability to work under pressure without direct supervision, good driving habits, and a valid driver's license meeting PBV qualifications. The position requires the ability to work necessary hours to complete assigned tasks and involves significant physical activity, including standing, lifting up to 85 pounds, and moving heavy loads with assistance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
Retail industry work experience preferred.

Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Must be able to stand, lift up to 85 pounds, load, and push/pull 300 – 2400 pounds with the assistance of a pallet jack; as well as bend, reach and squat while merchandising and moving products.
Must be able to walk frequently.
Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

Merchandises store shelving, coolers, and displays with Pepsi products in accounts assigned by a supervisor.
Maintains backroom stock in a neat and orderly condition.
