The Sales Merchandiser position is responsible for the execution of Anderson Merchandisers standards to drive sales and meet retailer and client expectations. This position is under the supervision of the Market Sales Manager, but daily communication and follow-up with the Territory Sales Lead is expected. The role involves building rapport with store associates and management, educating them on client brands and products, and executing merchandising tasks with accuracy and quality. The merchandiser will maintain detailed knowledge of company policies and communicate daily activities, sales opportunities, and potential barriers to the Territory Sales Lead and Market Sales Manager. A handheld device will be used for various functions, and company, client, and retailer confidentiality must be maintained.
