About The Position

As a Retail Merchandising Associate, you will support Brightstar Lottery's retail operations by driving sales performance, optimizing inventory, and ensuring exceptional merchandising execution within an assigned territory. You will partner with retailers to maximize sales opportunities, maintain operational standards, and support the effective distribution of lottery products. This role will be located in Metro Detroit (Detroit, Livonia, Grosse Pointe), MI.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail sales or wholesale sales.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively using company-provided tablets or computers.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must reside within the assigned region.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage product inventory, display execution, and overall product presentation.
  • Optimize inventory mix at retail locations through planogram management, instant ticket ordering, and ticket returns.
  • Ensure customer Standards of Excellence are met across all points of retail distribution.
  • Educate retailers and players to maximize sales opportunities and product awareness.
  • Review sales statistics with retailers on a consistent basis.
  • Follow all lottery procedures, including picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing, and returning tickets to the warehouse.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
