The Merchandise Manager drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management. The Merchandise Manager will also provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity. They will lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading, accurate sorting, and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor. This role owns workload planning and daily task prioritization, partnering with store leadership to align staffing and execution to business needs. They will execute and maintain SISO (Store-In-Stock Optimization) routines to drive in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy, and sales readiness. The Merchandise Manager will oversee Planogram (POG) execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed accurately and on schedule, and establish and maintain visual merchandising standards, including initial product placement and presentation to company expectations. They will support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment, including backroom organization and sales floor recovery. This role manages key aspects of inventory control, ensuring product accuracy, integrity, and efficient stock movement. They will execute ad sets, ensuring promotional signage and product placement are compliant and customer focused, and complete price changes accurately and on time, maintaining pricing integrity across the sales floor and systems. The Merchandise Manager will oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately. They will process RTVs (Return to Vendor) and ASN receiving, ensuring compliance, documentation accuracy, and proper inventory adjustments. This role manages store damages procedures, ensuring proper handling, reporting, and shrink reduction. Additionally, they will train, coach, and develop team members through structured TM onboarding and ongoing skill-building across assigned departments, and partner in maintaining strong Asset Protection practices, reducing shrink through awareness, compliance, and safe operations.
