About The Position

The Retail Merchandise Coordinator reports to the Gift Shop Manager/Buyer and will participate in all aspects of the gift shop operations, including store operations, human resource management (hiring/training/scheduling), customer service and sales, visual merchandising and product placement, inventory management (purchasing, ordering transferring), purchase order management and expediting, and expense management. The RMC will have administrative responsibilities as well as store responsibilities, as needed. Participate in product placement and store sale, events and maintains communication vehicles such as displays, signs brochures etc. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • At least 5 years' of prior retail store experience, including, but not limited to selling, merchandising, receiving, store opening/closing, customer service, buying, payroll, interviewing, training.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree preferred.
