About The Position
Marshalls at TJX Companies is looking for a Retail Merchandise Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. This position may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities
- Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
- Embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
- Supporting the needs of the business through cross-training in multiple areas of the store.
- Modeling established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Supporting and embodying a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customers.
- Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
- Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
- Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
