About The Position

TJ Maxx is seeking a Retail Merchandise Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained to support various areas of the store. The position involves supporting a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, accurately processing customer transactions, promoting loyalty programs, and maintaining merchandising standards. The role also includes preparing merchandise for the sales floor, participating in store recovery, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store. The associate will also participate in shrink reduction goals and safety awareness programs.

Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
Other duties as assigned.
