About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 for Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Vanderbilt Health is a growing health system, anchored by Vanderbilt University Medical Center, one of the largest and most prominent academic medical centers in the Southeast, with seven hospitals and more than 200 clinics across Tennessee and in neighboring states. The hospital has 1,000 licensed beds. This role ensures a zero-harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees. It directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation, including branded concepts, ensuring employees have appropriate equipment, supplies, and resources. The manager manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies, maintains client satisfaction with food quality & customer service, and is accountable for delivering service quality by maintaining the highest standards. This position supervises the day-to-day work activities of food service workers.

Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards
Strong coaching and employee development skills
Have a passion for food and innovation
