About The Position

Join Vinnies Dickson as a Retail Manager and lead a passionate team while turning community generosity into spectacular change. As Retail Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of Dickson Vinnies, leading a team of staff and volunteers and bringing energy to every part of the store. You will be responsible for creating an unforgettable customer experience, achieving sales goals, and keeping the store fresh, inviting, and full of personality. This role offers the opportunity to make your mark in a store with a vibrant atmosphere, amazing range of products, and strong connection to the local community. The purpose behind the role is significant, as every donation, sale, and customer interaction helps turn community generosity into meaningful support for people experiencing hardship. This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity working across weekdays and Saturday.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Strong track record of achieving results.
• Effective communication, organisation, and people management skills.
• Proactive and solutions-focused.
• Comfortable using business systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Willingness to complete a National Police Check.
• Hold or obtain a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card.
• Complete a First Aid Certificate within three months of starting.
