RETAIL MANAGER IN TRAINING
About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Manager in Training at Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. The role involves training in various stores within Knox County and potentially one store in Licking County. The position requires open availability, including all shifts, holidays, evenings, and weekends. The Manager in Training will be responsible for supervising and training employees, teaching them to sort and price donations, and ensuring quality control standards. The company provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
Requirements
- Ample experience in retail management
- A working knowledge of retail settings and product display
- A passion for excellent customer service
- The ability to work a flexible schedule
- Valid driver’s license
- Travel to other retail locations within Knox County as well as 1 in Licking County if needed
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen (includes THC)
- Pass a pre-employment background check
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train employees with enthusiasm as well as understanding
- Lead and teach your team how to sort and price donations
- Ensure quality control standards
- Learn to refill Propane tanks
