About The Position

As an Independent Retail Maintenance Contractor (1099), you'll help keep our equipment operating at top performance across theme parks, zoos, casinos, shopping centers, museums, and entertainment venues throughout the St. Louis area. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced field service professionals who enjoy working independently, solving mechanical problems, and managing their own schedule.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a maintenance repair contractor in a similar industry
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Detail-oriented and ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and on call
  • Provides own tools and equipment

  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and your own basic tools are preferred.
  • Previous experience servicing vending equipment, arcade games, ATMs, kiosks, mobility equipment, amusement rides, commercial equipment, or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain mobility scooters, electronic lockers, penny press machines, arcade games, kiosks, and other guest-facing equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Complete routine inspections and identify potential problems before they impact operations.
  • Clear coin jams, replace fuses, light bulbs, batteries, and other common wear items.
  • Safely use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, work areas, and platforms to company standards.
  • Perform weekly cash collections, record meter readings through a web-based portal, and make local bank deposits when required.
  • Document completed repairs, maintenance activities, parts used, and service notes through the company's mobile reporting system.
  • Travel between multiple customer locations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company service standards while working in public environments.
