Retail Lead | Auto Parts
About The Position
As a Retail Lead, you’ll support the Retail Supervisor and Retail Chief in leading daily store operations. You’ll provide excellent customer service, coach team members, and ensure a safe, efficient, and positive environment for customers and employees alike. Pull-A-Part, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is a national leader in the do-it-yourself used auto parts industry. We’ve reimagined the traditional junkyard into a sustainable, customer-focused recycling operation. Founded in 1997, Pull-A-Part operates 35 superstores nationwide, including 11 U-Pull-&-Pay locations. We’ve been recognized nationwide for our commitment to customer service, environmental responsibility, and corporate citizenship.
Requirements
- Leadership or supervisory experience in retail (required)
- Strong customer service focus and team leadership skills
- Solid administrative and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile tech tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work indoors/outdoors
Nice To Haves
- Experience in automotive, salvage, or recycling industry
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities

- Supervise and motivate retail team members to meet daily goals
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and professionalism in the store
- Deliver friendly, helpful, and professional service to customers
- Communicate sales and marketing initiatives to the team
- Manage office administration, including phones, cash drawers, paperwork, and supplies
- Support training, development, and onboarding of new employees
- Maintain vendor and supplier relationships
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all company policies and SOPs
- Work retail hours including weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
- Perform retail-related tasks as directed
- Grow your skills, assist your team, and perform other assigned tasks.
