About The Position

As a Key Holder, also known as a Floor Leader, at Skechers, you will contribute to store operations and mentor the team to deliver exceptional customer service. In this entry-level management role, you will oversee daily operations, support sales goals, and help maintain the store’s shopping environment. The position offers opportunities to develop retail leadership and management skills and advance within the Skechers brand.

Requirements

• Able to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve issues that arise in the store.
• Highly organized in managing inventory, staffing, and other operational tasks.
• Ability and desire to foster a respectful, safe, and fun environment for store employees.
• Comfortable mentoring team members and communicating with all levels of the store team.
• Acts with confidentiality and urgency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as a Key Holder, Shift Leader, or Retail Supervisor in retail, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide advice on Skechers products to help them find the right fit and have a positive shopping experience.
• Supervise daily operations, including store opening and closing procedures as required, and uphold security protocols and operational standards.
• Mentor and support team members in customer service, sales, and daily operations.
• Contribute to store and individual sales targets through effective selling techniques and promotion of key products.
• Execute merchandising plans, restock products, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Oversee stock and inventory routines and collaborate with store management on operational needs.
• Identify and resolve in-store challenges to support a smooth customer experience.
