About The Position

The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers primarily perform Coordinator duties and occasionally act as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. They must have open availability, including nights and weekends. The role models exceptional customer service and creates a positive experience for customers and Associates. As Manager on Duty, the Key Carrier follows company policies and procedures, helps ensure the store team completes tasks according to the store plan, addresses immediate customer-service issues, supports Associate coaching and training, and helps maintain operational standards, safety, and shrink-reduction goals. The starting pay range is USD $14.75 to $15.25 per hour; actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Model exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for internal and external customers.
Promote honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure the store team performs tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer-service issues, provide appropriate coaching, and use discretion under customer-service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
Ensure Associates follow operational procedures and opening and closing procedures are completed according to company guidelines.
Communicate priorities and progress updates accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback; provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
