Boscov’s Retail Jewelry Department is seeking experienced Retail Jewelry Sales Associates to leverage their sales background and launch an exciting career in retail with one of the nation’s leading retailers. The company is looking for Jewelry Sales Associates to join its growing retail team. In this role, you will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic sales team, responsible for developing customer relationships and ensuring customer needs are met quickly and efficiently. Requirements

Ability and desire to actively engage customers, sell merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.
Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience, preferred.
Prior retail and/or selling experience in Fine Jewelry/Gemstones preferred.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with basic math skills.
Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon.
Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience
Prior retail and/or selling experience in Fine Jewelry/Gemstones

Responsibilities

Build customer confidence, provide accurate information, and promote products through point of successful sale.
Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer to close sales and provide the best customer experience.
Sell merchandise and provide customer service according to company standards (e.g., greet and acknowledge customers, demonstrate solid product knowledge, and fulfill all other customer service components).
Maintain the appearance of the selling floor.
Perform marketing activities such as opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to achieve company-set goals.
Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise; process and maintain stock by assisting in receiving, folding, straightening, and replenishing merchandise.
