About The Position

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a proactive and meticulous Retail Inventory Auditor to play a key role in maintaining precise store asset balances. This role involves traveling to various store locations to conduct hands-on inventory audits using a handheld scanner. The auditor will work closely with store management and operations teams to ensure inventory counts are accurate and company policies are followed. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and working in different locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Inventory Auditing, Retail Operations, Merchandising, or Warehouse/Logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with store teams and management.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/retail environment and handling merchandise.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with no major offenses.
  • Availability to work from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
  • Willingness to travel out of town up to 50% of the time (typically 4-5 nights every 2-3 weeks).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stoop, reach overhead, and climb ladders as needed.
  • Comfortable traveling by car or plane, including overnight trips.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Inventory Auditing, Retail Operations, Merchandising, or Warehouse/Logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical inventories at store locations to verify inventory balances.
  • Utilize a handheld scanner to count merchandise accurately.
  • Follow company audit procedures to ensure compliance with FirstCash policies.
  • Assess potential risks and quality concerns during store audits.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers to review and communicate audit results.
  • Work independently while maintaining high levels of organization and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies.
  • Travel regularly and participate in full-team audits when necessary.
