Retail Inventory Associate Driver - Greater Hudson Valley Area
About The Position
WIS International is urgently hiring Retail Inventory Associate Drivers throughout the greater Hudson Valley Area. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and paid training, with the potential for performance-based pay increases. The job involves accurately counting inventory for top retailers, with no prior experience required as all necessary training is provided. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting employees to and from inventory events and must maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The role is active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and occasional ladder climbing and lifting up to 25 pounds. It is a fast-paced retail environment where productivity and accuracy are rewarded.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months
- A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
- Must be at least 18 years old to drive a personal vehicle for business needs
- Must be at least 21 years old to be a qualified van driver
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening and MVR check in accordance with company standards
- Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations
- Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours, including very early mornings and/or late nights
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using handheld technology
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- No degree required
Nice To Haves
- Retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, gamer, athlete, coaches, and general labor experience are all valuable backgrounds for this position.
- Opportunity to become a paid pharmacy counter – certification required
Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees to and from inventory events in a timely manner
- Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Meet productivity goals to increase earnings through the performance-based pay program
- Travel to retail locations
