About The Position

Family Farm and Home is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our Merchandising and Supply Chain team. In this role, you'll use data and analytics to help ensure the right products are in the right stores at the right time. You'll gain hands-on experience working with inventory planning, forecasting, merchandising, supply chain operations, and financial analysis while partnering with leaders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate interested in building a career in retail analytics, supply chain, merchandising, planning, or business strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and identify meaningful trends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, project, or classroom experience involving data analysis, forecasting, supply chain, retail, or finance.
  • Experience using Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic data modeling.
  • Experience with analytical tools.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales, inventory, and financial performance to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop recommendations that improve product availability and inventory productivity.
  • Create reports and dashboards that support decision-making across the organization.
  • Present findings and insights to business partners and leadership teams.
  • Manage inventory forecasts and replenishment plans using industry-leading tools.
  • Help ensure stores have the products customers need while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Support seasonal planning, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Monitor inventory performance and recommend adjustments to improve results.
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Store Operations teams.
  • Partner with Product Merchants to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects that improve business processes and customer experience.
  • Analyze vendor and supply chain performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance inventory flow.
  • Contribute to strategic projects that drive company growth and profitability.
