Requirements

• Processes Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products, scanning merchandise, and accepting various forms of payments.
• Provides excellent member service efficiently and productively.
• Maintains the overall cleanliness of the front-line department.
• Responsible for Executing Acquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, and cross-selling My BJs Perks.
• Responsible for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer services inquiries.
• Provides excellent and efficient member service.
• Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and shrink-wrapping packages, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment.
• Omni Experience Ambassador will be working within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, BOPIC Fresh, Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club.
• Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department.
• Maintains the overall environment of the department by providing assistance to Members through product knowledge and customer service.
• Ensures that all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item’s product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage instructions.
• Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.
• Slices, packages, weighs, and sells various deli products, including meats and cheeses.
• Maintains the presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including deli display cases.
• Provides assistance to Members in the deli department.
• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.
