About The Position

The Retail Freight Associate, listed internally as a Receiving Specialist, assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving delivery trucks and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
