About The Position

The Retail Freight Associate, internally titled Receiving Specialist, assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The role handles freight, supports merchandising, maintains an organized receiving area, and helps ensure efficient store operations.

The position involves assisting with truck receiving and moving freight to the sales floor, pricing and merchandising products, recovering the store, and training new Associates. The Associate communicates receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders as necessary and completes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
