About The Position

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail E-Commerce Team Member to join their online sales team. This role involves processing donated goods, authenticating and photographing items, writing product descriptions, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders. The position is mission-driven, focusing on supporting individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment through job training and employment services. The team member will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of the e-commerce operation.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• A commitment to meeting daily quotas and goals
• Drive for excellence and high attention to detail
• Ability to work in a non–climate‑controlled environment
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and twisting for up to eight hours
• Frequent exposure to airborne particles

Responsibilities

• Sort, research, and process a wide variety of donated goods
• Authenticate and categorize jewelry, including precious metals and gemstones
• Photograph items to highlight important features for online buyers
• Write clear, accurate, and compelling product listings
• Track and label inventory using online systems
• Pull, package, and ship sold orders quickly and efficiently
• Participate in inventory purges as needed
• Meet daily and hourly production goals
• Move and organize merchandise using carts, dollies, or pallet jacks
• Support other duties that keep the e-commerce operation thriving
