About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, team-building individuals to fill a Full time Retail Donation Attendant Position at our Caro Store located at 1560 W. Caro Road in Caro. This position offers a starting pay of $15.00 an hour plus the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses, a 20% discount on in-store purchases, and career advancement opportunities.
Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as assigned; Sunday – Saturday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Extra shifts may be required.
- Can lift and carry 35 pounds without help.
- Can reach, bend or stoop.
- Able to stand six to eight hours a day.
- Have a reliable means of transportation to report to work on time.
- Ability to learn and utilize safe lifting techniques.
- Ability to work in cold or warm temperatures, depending on weather and donation traffic
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, assisting them with donations in a friendly, professional, and safe manner.
- Assist with customer/donor concerns, handling them professionally.
- Record all donors and donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form; record all gaylords/items accurately on the Bill of Lading.
- Assist with janitorial duties, maintaining the cleanliness in the backroom and on the sales floor.
- Maintain standard back room layout and orderliness to ensure efficiency.
