About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking motivated, fast-paced individuals to join our team as Part-Time Retail Donation Attendants at our Flint Twp store. This role involves providing excellent customer service to donors, accurately recording donations, assisting with janitorial duties, and maintaining an organized backroom. The position offers a starting pay of $15.00 per hour and a 20% discount on in-store purchases.
Requirements
- Can you lift and carry 35 pounds?
- Can you reach, bend or stoop?
- Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
- Do you have a reliable means of transportation to report to work on time?
- Ability to learn and utilize safe lifting techniques.
- Ability to work in cold or warm temperatures, depending on weather and donation traffic.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, assisting them with donations in a friendly, professional, and safe manner.
- Assist with customer/donor concerns, handling them professionally.
- Record all donors and donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form; record all gaylords/items accurately on the Bill of Lading.
- Assist with janitorial duties, maintaining the cleanliness in the backroom and on the sales floor.
- Maintain standard back room layout and orderliness to ensure efficiency.
