Plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area of operation, including full profit and loss responsibility, while acting within the scope of company objectives and policies to accomplish divisional and regional goals. This role involves leading store teams to foster Dollar General's mission and values, ensure fair administration of human resources policies, provide superior customer service, achieve annual sales growth targets, effectively manage inventory, execute company objectives, optimize scheduling for productivity, develop human capital through recruitment and training, and protect company assets through loss prevention and expense control. The position also requires identifying and developing new business opportunities within the operational area, such as distribution flow improvements, merchandising efforts, store growth, real estate site selection, recruiting strategies, training and development, employee relations, customer service, and systems implementation. Consistent and effective communication of divisional and regional priorities to store teams is essential.
