About The Position

Dispense completed eyewear, use Lensometer to verify accuracy of prescription, and adjust patient glasses. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $10.64 - $14.10/hr. The role requires the associate to work changing schedules to meet business demands, work inside a location, and have strong organizational skills. The associate must be able to speak clearly and effectively, calculate and manipulate numbers/data, read English, problem solve/reason, meet customer expectations, work under stress with interruptions and deadlines, follow procedures and instructions, use a computer effectively and view the computer screen, and exhibit empathy in all interactions. The job also requires the ability to bend and stoop continuously and reach above the shoulder continuously. Associates must comply with HIPAA and security requirements, including protecting covered information, cardholder data, or other confidential customer information. Requirements

  • One (1) year of related experience
  • Optical preferred
  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
  • Communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers in-person and by phone promptly and professionally as per company customer service standards to include selling the lens cleaning kit, offering our Unbeatable Price/Money-Back Satisfaction guarantee, review Customer Service Comment Card with customer etc.
  • Inspect finished eyeglasses using the Lensometer to conform to Company 7-Point Quality Check as well as providing a thorough dispense to ensure proper fit, etc.
  • Adjust and repair customer eyewear.
  • Stock/re-stock merchandise, clean and straighten displays and entire store to plan-o-gram.
  • Process defective, spoiled and cannibalized frames.
  • Complete company required training programs.
  • Follow company safety rules and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by management to include cross training in the lab.
