About The Position

Boscov’s is seeking experienced Retail Department Stock Associates to join their growing retail team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in stock or customer service looking for a rewarding career in retail. As a member of a fast-paced stock team, you will build relationships with coworkers and ensure customer needs are met efficiently. Boscov's is a chain of full-service department stores known for great values, famous brands, and a wide selection of quality merchandise.

Requirements

Ability and desire to actively engage customers and provide excellent customer service.
Enjoys working with customers, is stock/sales directed and committed to excellent customer service.
Communication; written, verbal and by telephone with customers, co-workers and management.
Possess basic math skills.
Maintain an awareness of advertised merchandise.
Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS terminal and telxon.
Ability to work well with the public and available to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Nice To Haves

Prior stock and or selling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure the timely delivery of goods to the selling floor.
Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer to provide the best customer experience.
Receive and process receipts and transfers.
Replenish selling floor daily.
Maintain appearance of the selling floor and stock room.
Assist customers and sell merchandise as business dictates.
Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and paperwork, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Maintain an awareness of advertised merchandise.
