This role is for a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service representative, also referred to as a Pawnbroker. It offers a structured career path starting as a Trainee in a 5-week paid training program, progressing to Pawnbroker, then potentially Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager), and finally Store Manager in Training. As a Retail Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker), you will interact with customers daily, assisting with sales and negotiating agreements for pawn items like jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. The role emphasizes providing excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.

Requirements

Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
High school diploma or GED
Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work well independently and as member of a team
Ability to multitask
Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics
Sales background
Bilingual

Responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
Processing sales, loans, and extensions
Performing opening and closing store duties
Helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more
