The company is currently hiring immediately for Retail Sales Associates / Retail Customer Service roles. Working at EZCORP provides a structured career path, starting with a 5-week paid training program as a Trainee, leading to a $.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Further growth includes a Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1/hour, opportunities to promote to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager), and a 12-week Store Manager in Training program to prepare for running a store. As a Retail Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker), the role involves daily customer interaction, assisting with sales, and negotiating mutually satisfying agreements for pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. The position requires providing a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment. Requirements

  • Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
  • Excelling at customer service and relationship building
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well independently and as member of a team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics
  • Sales background
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
  • Processing sales, loans, and extensions
  • Performing opening and closing store duties
  • Helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more
