About The Position

They are hiring immediately for Retail Sales Associates / Retail Customer Service roles. The company provides a structured career path starting with a 5-week paid training program as a Trainee, leading to a promotion to Pawnbroker with a pay raise. Further growth opportunities include a Pawnbroker Certification Program for additional pay, promotion to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager), and a 12-week Store Manager in Training program to prepare for running a store. The Retail Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker) role involves daily interaction with customers, assisting with sales, and negotiating agreements for pawn items like jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. Team members are expected to provide excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment. Requirements

  • Self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
  • Excelling at customer service and relationship building
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well independently and as member of a team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics
  • Sales background
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
  • Processing sales, loans, and extensions
  • Performing opening and closing store duties
