About The Position

Flowerama is seeking hardworking, upbeat, and dependable individuals for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Our Florist and Gift store is looking for qualified applicants with strong customer service and/or retail experience. This role offers the opportunity to learn the art of floral design and involves helping customers in a fast-paced, creative environment. The store operates Monday - Friday 7:30am-7pm, Saturday 8am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm, with extended hours during busy holiday times, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day weeks.

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Ability to work as part of a team while completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Typing Ability (30 WPM).
• Strong communications and strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication ability.
• Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours daily, and up to 10 hours seasonally.
• Commitment to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced creative environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with florist business.
• Floral Design experience.
• Point of Sales experience is a plus.
