About The Position

This role focuses on building customer relationships by creating memorable framing solutions for their art. The Custom Framer will assist customers in shopping the store, ensuring they find what they need, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment. Key activities include adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, executing personal designer strategies to build customer relationships and deliver custom framing solutions, and meeting sales and production goals. The position involves completing framing orders with high quality and on time, maintaining the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, and delivering friendly customer service. The Framer will also participate in truck unloads and stocking, operate the cash register with proper cash handling, acknowledge customers, assist with Omni channel processes, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic measuring skills
  • Ability to operate the framing equipment
  • Ability to operate a glass cutter
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames
  • Ability to access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
