About The Position

Boscov's is seeking experienced Retail Cosmetics Sales Consultants who are passionate about helping others and marketing products. As a chain of full-service department stores, Boscov's has been known for nearly 100 years for its great values, famous brands, and broad selection of quality merchandise. This role involves working in the cosmetics counter as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team. You will assist with customer events, discuss sales strategies with management, and act as an ambassador for your product line. Building strong customer relationships is key to success in this rewarding retail career.

Requirements

Ability to actively engage customers
Ability to sell merchandise
Ability to provide excellent customer service
High school diploma or equivalent
Must enjoy working with customers
Must be sales-directed
Must be committed to excellent customer service
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to learn selling skills
Ability to operate a POS terminal and telxon
Ability to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends availability

Selling merchandise
Providing product knowledge
Providing customer service by fulfilling customers’ merchandise needs
Maintaining the appearance of the selling floor and stock area
Accurately and efficiently completing all paperwork and transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures
Tracking daily/weekly sales and completing reports
Maintaining an awareness of advertised merchandise
Maintaining stock by assisting in receiving, straightening, and replenishing merchandise
