About The Position

Boscov's is seeking experienced Retail Cosmetics Sales Consultants to join their growing retail team, working at the cosmetics counter. Boscov's is a chain of full-service department stores known for great values, famous brands, and a broad selection of quality merchandise. As part of a fast-paced, dynamic team, the consultant will assist with customer events, discuss sales strategies with management, and act as an ambassador for their product line. Requirements

Ability to actively engage customers

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to learn selling skills
Ability to operate a POS terminal and telxon
Ability to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends availability

Responsibilities

Selling merchandise
Providing product knowledge of cosmetic products
Providing customer service by fulfilling customers’ merchandise needs
Maintaining the appearance of the selling floor and stock area
Accurately and efficiently completing all paperwork and transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures
Tracking daily/weekly sales and completing reports
Maintaining an awareness of advertised merchandise
Maintaining stock by assisting in receiving, straightening, and replenishing merchandise
