About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Retail & Community Engagement Manager who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role, you will work within a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection from scratch-baked bread and pastries to soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest, whole ingredients. This is a seasonal position ending after the 2026 holiday season.

Requirements

1+ years customer service/retail experience
Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
Flexible schedule standards.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Greeting and welcoming guests to the brand.
Merchandising, daily basket making, stocking shelves, personal shopping assistance, inventory, cleaning, and organization.
Assisting front of house restaurant operations when needed.
Attending and participating in weekly management meetings.
Engaging local schools to participate in Knead Dough Fundraiser events.
Providing the Home Office with all necessary info and paperwork for fundraisers.
Hosting Knead Dough community partnership fundraising events.
Partnering with marketing and home office to host brand-wide events and classes, as well as individual store events.
Working closely with General Managers, District Leadership, Regional Leadership, and the home office team to ensure store events are successful, reflect the brand, and provide exceptional customer service.
Engaging and facilitating partnerships with realtors and title companies in the community to drive gift basket and catering sales.
Organizing and leading a team to support the execution of Holiday baskets and merchandise.
