About The Position

The Co Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The role creates and leads a sales team that is passionate about selling merchandise and ensuring a positive associate and customer experience. Responsibilities span merchandising, associate development, customer service, and financial oversight.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays seasonally on a regular basis.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

Management experience with retailers such as Walmart, 5 Below, Burlington Stores, Big Lots, Dollar General, Rural King, Gabes, Dicks Sporting Goods, or Bed Bath and Beyond translates well to the opportunity.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors by providing exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences and ensuring company standards are consistently demonstrated in every interaction.
Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations.
Develop and execute talent planning to support associate growth.
Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to meet business needs.
Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed.
Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
