About The Position

The Co Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the sales floor and receiving area. The role creates and leads a sales team focused on selling merchandise and delivering a positive associate and customer experience. Responsibilities span merchandising, associate development, customer service, and financial oversight. The position may also perform store opening and closing functions and other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

Management experience with retailers such as Walmart, 5 Below, Burlington Stores, Big Lots, Dollar General, Rural King, Gabes, Dicks Sporting Goods, or Bed Bath and Beyond.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Team Leader with payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors and ensure company standards are consistently demonstrated in associate and customer interactions.
Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations.
Develop and execute talent planning to support associate growth.
Ensure scheduling and staffing meet business needs.
Open and close the store when needed and perform additional assigned responsibilities or duties.
