Retail Clerk - New Store - Plymouth MI
About The Position

As a Retail Clerk, you’ll play a key role in creating a shopping experience that’s accurate, organized, and visually inviting. You’ll ensure prices and signs are up to date, support product presentation, and help every aisle look its best — bringing Meijer’s values of family, community, respect, and growth to life every day. Within the GM Night Stocking position, you will stock from either an l-cart or pallet to place the stock in the correct location on the shelf. You will play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly and having a positive impact on the community we serve. If you’re detail oriented and organized, come join us!
Requirements
- Adequate knowledge of computer systems and comfortable using them.
- Process driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
- Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50lb boxes.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the operation of a fork lift and pallet jack is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with a variety of products, including food.
- Pull back stock and trash to the back room to the correct areas.
- Work with management to ensure correct areas are stocked in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers.
- Work night shifts.
