About The Position

QC Supply is seeking a driven, experienced Retail Clerk to join their team. This role requires a tech-savvy, highly organized, and customer-focused individual to lead in-store sales and maintain high company standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a sharp attention to detail. This role requires a flexible, service-oriented individual focused on driving sales, profit, and customer loyalty through proactive selling and expert product knowledge. Key responsibilities include maintaining high merchandising and QC Supply Company standards, managing inventory, processing freight, and adhering to loss prevention protocols.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates business acumen, ethical conduct, respect for diversity, and adherence to safety/organizational policies.
  • Accurate counting, reading, and documentation.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Basic English reading/understanding required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in farming, ranching, pet/equine care, or welding.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively assist customers in-store to boost sales and product knowledge.
  • Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service.
  • Lead inventory management, including stocking, organizing, and maintaining a clean, professional retail space.
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and accurate sales processing.
  • Safely and efficiently perform varied daily tasks without advance notice.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and speak persuasively.
  • Assist walk-in customers, resolve complaints, and foster positive relationships.
  • Seek guidance on non-routine matters.
  • Work cross-functionally.
  • Balance team/individual responsibilities.
  • Resolve conflict ethically.
  • Operate cash registers and other store equipment.
  • Manage cash.
  • Restock shelves.
  • Maintain store cleanliness.
