This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, which includes store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. The Team Member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping the store and finding what they need. Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and damp mopping floors, moving equipment and products for proper cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with provided materials and equipment. This may involve mixing cleaning solutions. The role also requires deep cleaning of key areas like bathrooms and breakrooms to ensure a clean and safe environment. The Team Member must maintain cleaning equipment, notify supervisors of supply needs, and proactively identify areas requiring cleaning. All tasks must be completed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers is essential, as is projecting a positive image and serving as a role model. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in the Rewards program and credit card enrollments, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required for compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
