About The Position

Arcus is looking to recruit a part-time In Store Cleaner for a Sainsbury's Local store. This role is on a fixed-term basis until March 31, 2027, with 16 hours per week and an hourly rate of £12.71. The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the store, ensuring a positive experience for customers. Immediate start is available. The role involves various cleaning tasks, both inside and outside the store, and Arcus provides full training.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
An eye for detail and cleanliness.
A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
Must provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for time and attendance recording.

Responsibilities

Complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within Sainsbury's stores.
Operate machinery.
Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping.
Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies.
Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
