About The Position

The Cashier provides excellent customer experiences by creating an exceptional shopping experience through eagerness to help, product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and efficient execution of Front-End operations. The role supports customers and teammates across the store while helping maintain a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment.

Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and occasionally lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. (up to 5 times per hour).
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time, up to 4 hours.
Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time, up to 2 hours continuously.
Demonstrate the teammate traits of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, trust, sound decision-making, and being action-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
Process customer sales transactions and returns in accordance with established Front-End procedures.
Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
Maintain the confidentiality of Company information.
Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
