About The Position

Friendly, outgoing individuals wanted to engage with customers, help schedule in-home consultations, and be part of a fun, team-focused environment. No cold calling. This role involves working inside Costco locations throughout the Austin area, engaging with members to schedule in-home consultations for water heaters, water treatment systems, and HVAC systems. ABC Home & Commercial Services is a family-owned company with 75 years of experience, seeking energetic and team-oriented individuals to represent trusted brands.

  • Strong teamwork skills, collaborating with colleagues and supporting others during fast-paced in-store events.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing locations, schedules, or customer interactions while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Self-motivation and energy, bringing enthusiasm to every customer interaction and task.
  • Clear and respectful communication skills, able to engage and inform customers in a persuasive yet approachable way.
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to stay focused in an environment that may be prone to continuous distractions and interruptions.
  • Ability to work weekends with minimal supervision required - Schedule: Wed. - Sun. with Mon. & Tue. off.
  • Reliable transportation for travel to six Costco's (Georgetown, Great Hills, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, William Cannon and Kyle).
  • Must be willing to commute to all Costco’s in Austin AND surrounding areas.
  • Candidates that reside in the South/Central Austin & Kyle area.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with Costco members in a warm, approachable, and genuine way.
  • Start conversations and build quick rapport in a busy retail setting.
  • Share information about ABC’s home services (HVAC, water heaters, water treatment).
  • Representing and/or marketing the brands (and products/services) of the warehouse company (e.g., Costco), the manufacturing company (e.g., Lennox or EcoWater) and the service company (ABC Home & Commercial) in a highly positive, professional and courteous manner.
  • Always ensuring a positive impression of all companies and in all circumstances (even if the only exchange is a friendly “smile”).
  • Developing and maintaining a basic knowledge of product lines and services.
  • Documenting and/or updating customer records and interactions as required.
  • Schedule free in-home consultations with warehouse club members for in-home consultation with ABC sales specialists.
  • Travel to six Costco's (Georgetown, Great Hills, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, William Cannon and Kyle).
