About The Position

Snappy’s is looking for a Retail Beer & Wine Manager to oversee our beer and wine program while helping lead overall store operations. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, product knowledge, strong merchandising, and delivering the legendary convenience guest service Snappy’s is known for. Requirements

• Strong understanding of beer and wine products, regulations, and merchandising.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in retail, convenience, or alcohol sales preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol sales according to state law.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to delegate responsibilities, guide staff, and maintain accountability.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools preferred.
• RAMP certification (Owner/Manager and Server/Seller Trained) required or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily beer and wine sales operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance.
• Maintain strict adherence to federal, state, and local alcohol laws as well as company policies and procedures.
• Educate team members on alcohol sales compliance, product knowledge, and responsible service.
• Monitor sales trends and implement merchandising and promotional strategies to grow the category.
• Oversee ordering, product rotation, and inventory accuracy to control costs and maintain product freshness.
• Work with suppliers to manage product assortment, pricing, and promotional opportunities.
• Ensure every guest receives knowledgeable service and a positive store experience.
• Oversee store operations and team activities when the Senior Retail Manager is not present.
• Work closely with the Senior Retail Manager to address staffing needs, performance trends, and compliance matters.
