Nice To Haves

Prior stockroom, warehouse, or truck-unloading experience preferred (not required)
Retail customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

Unload merchandise from delivery trucks in a timely and safe manner
Sort, palletize, and organize incoming freight in the backroom
Lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise (up to 40–50 lbs, with or without accommodation)
Break down pallets and remove packaging materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment
Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques
Meet early morning schedule requirements (7:30 AM start time)
Work efficiently to meet truck processing deadlines
Assist with moving merchandise to the sales floor as needed
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
Promotes credit and loyalty programs
Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards
Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
Other duties as assigned
