About The Position

The Retail Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing assigned duties in an efficient and professional manner. This position requires the ability to complete quality work within established deadlines, both independently and as part of a team environment. The Retail Attendant interacts professionally with guests, team members, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining effective communication and coordination with other departments, complying with all company policies and procedures, and adhering to workplace safety standards. The Retail Attendant is also expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer information during and after employment. The Retail Attendant position is to provide outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of the retail areas in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner. This role is responsible for assisting guests, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, accurately handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. The Retail Attendant contributes to a positive guest experience by working collaboratively with team members and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer knowledge and typing skills required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
  • Ability to operate standard office and retail equipment including POS terminals and telephones
  • Strong arithmetic and cash-handling skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests, team members, and vendors
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all data privacy policies regarding employee and organizational information
  • Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities effectively
  • Problem-solving and resolving customer concerns in a professional manner

  • Knowledge of Gift Shop operations, procedures, and customer service standards preferred
